Casual Flow: Bomber Jacket with a ModernTwist

One of the reasons my blog was created is to convey relatable style for the everyday woman and to encompass stylish and inspirational looks for various occasions, all on a budget. However, I noticed as of lately, I haven't posted many casual or corporate looks. So, I will definitely be revamping things a bit to uphold my original intent/purpose of blogging. :-)

The Look:

So, about today's look, the bomber jacket has been around for awhile, coming in and out of style throughout the years. I must admit nothing says, "Sporty Chic" more than a bomber jacket. When I laid eyes on this abstract, colorful, longline bomber dress/jacket, I knew it was an absolute must. One being the obvious reason which is, it can be worn as a dress and jacket(multi-functional) and two this piece is unique and adds such a fun twist to the classic bomber jacket. Well, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. :-) What are your thoughts on bomber jackets?

The Styling:

When creating this look the jacket was the statement piece, so in result I kept the rest of my look pretty basic. Pairing this bright and colorful jacket with a plain white tee and a pair of amazingly comfortable boyfriend jeans. (Ladies, if you do not own a pair of boyfriend jeans, please do yourself a favor and add this item to your wardrobe. It is one of my favorite go-to items for casual wear.)  I added the fringed sandals as they add a bit more funkiness to the look without taking away from the focal point of the outfit. I played up the subtle orange color in the jacket by pairing it with an bright orange purse and to top the look off, I added my mirrored sunnies. The hoop earrings coupled with big hair is always a win win for casual wear in my book. :-)
