Pink and Striped

Hoping you all had a great weekend! I traveled to Connecticut to visit with friends and it was a really good time! For today's post I am rocking one of my favorite things, "Black and White Stripes". Black and white stripes is an absolute classic. I have elements of this pattern in my wardrobe as well as my home decor.
The Styling:
These pink faux snakeskin pumps are definitely a statement shoe. When I stumbled upon them I fell in love....pink and animal print on the same shoe?! I'll take it. I decided to do some fun print mixing by pairing these shoes with stripes this time around. This dress is a little short but one style rule that I abide by is, if I am wearing a short garment/dress, I prefer to keep it loose. This dress has a little flare to it keeping it somewhat modest. Let's chat about this absolute gorgeousness around my neck....I love the sparkle and versatility of this piece. It can be worn with almost anything; a button up and boyfriend jeans, a chunky sweater for the colder months, a t-shirt and blazer, etc. This necklace is an example of the importance of accessories. This necklace has the ability to take a look from "That's cute" to "Wow, that's Fab!"
