Green Florals: One Dress Styled 3 Ways-Part II

Greetings Loves!!

The Look:

Midi skirts and dresses are very demure, elegant, and classic. They became quite popular in the 1940's and have been a staple in the fashion world ever since (some years more prevalent than others). Although, midi skirts come in various styles(pencil skirts, a-line skirts, etc.) I'd have to say the fit & flare shape is my absolute favorite. The versatility of this garment is part of the reason I love it so much. It's appropriate for a lunch date, office wear, church service, a formal event, date night, etc. and who doesn't love a garment you can pretty much wear for almost any occasion?!

The Styling:

For today's look I decided to rock the midi dress featured in a post from earlier this week (

), as a skirt. I paired it with  a bright green gingham button up to compliment the bright florals and to add a little subtle mixing of prints, to make the look a bit more interesting. For foot wear casual strappy sandals were the perfect compliment, although a pair of cap toe pumps would look fab as well, especially for chic office style. I paired my look with the perfect all-purpose cognac work bag, it is the essential bag for any woman on the go. You can literally fit your life in this bag. :-) To top the look off, I added a eye catching statement necklace. Well, hope you enjoy my second look and make sure you check back in tomorrow to see Part III. XOXO
