More Mixing Prints
Good Day Loves!!!
Today's look is a continuation of last week's style challenge of
Print Mixing.
Mixing prints is not a trend for the faint of heart. However, there are definitely ways to keep it subtle if you want to try this trend but not necessarily go all out. The formula is to have a common thread which grounds the look. I typically tend to stick with the same color palette. For example, I'll mix a black and white polka dot skirt with a black and white striped top. The black and white is the common denominator, which pulls the look together. If you're not careful it can come across as busy, tacky, and clownish. My suggestion for those who want to experiment with this trend but still are a little leery; start off with using your accessories, as demonstrated in my last look
! Hope you enjoy today's look and don't be afraid to "Mix it up" a bit! :-)
