How to Incorporate African Prints into Your Summer Wardrobe

So, it's no secret that I have immense adoration for the African culture, including the vibrant, bold, prints incorporated in their everyday wear. Every time my mother-in-law visits Ghana it is a must that I give her a list of pieces that I would like made.

Anywho, I was ecstatic when Akotos GH Boutique sent me yet another one of her fabulous handbags, this time this large clutch. It is the perfect piece to add some interest, fun, and color to your summer wardrobe. I love the bold royal blue hues and oranges in this particular clutch and I thought it paired very nicely with this bright off the shoulder green dress. I was torn whether I wanted to do a nude shoe or an additional pop of color...you guys see which one won. :-) COLOR COLOR COLOR is truly my thing. :-)

Why not freshen up your summer wardrobe with some fun prints, especially African or Ankara prints? You can keep it subtle with a printed handbag/tote, printed bangles, or even a printed headwrap with a cute jumpsuit. There are numerous ways to incorporate African Prints into your summer wardrobe.
