Holiday Style: Candy Cane

Greetings Lovelies!

With the Holiday's swiftly approaching I figured I'd sprinkle the blog with a little holiday cheer. Last year I did an entire series for the month of December and received such good feedback from you all. This year I unfortunately wasn't able to pump out the holiday content, as I would've liked but I'll try and squeeze in a few posts to serve as inspiration. Is it just me or did Christmas just creep up on us this time around? I'm totally not ready!

The Look:

This look is a pretty casual inspired look. If your family is anything like mine we keep it pretty casual for holiday dinners, so this look is the perfect no-fuss ensemble that will still garner a compliment or two. This blouse is holiday perfection with the candy cane vibes?! Scored it on super sale for $7. I also scored these ripped boyfriend jeans for $13 and they are truly becoming a fave of mine. Although, they're a little out of the box for me as I typically do not gravitate towards distressed denim with rips that are too dramatic or excessive but I couldn't pass these up for that price.

The Styling:

The pairing of the distressed jeans with the blazer and button up dressed the look down a bit, making it a good mix of classic meets trendy. The shoes....if you guys follow me on instagram then you know I wanted these shoes for the longest time from Zara and they sold out a couple of times before I could get my hands on them. However, low and behold a couple of months ago they restocked them and I was able to snag them. They're so pretty and I love the vintage vibe. Well, hope you enjoy this casual holiday look!
