A Little Fancy for the Holidays

Hoping you are all having a fantastic week! Today's look features this red ruffle maxi skirt that I am completely googly-eyed over. It is such a statement piece from the color, to the silhouette, to the exaggerated ruffle. It is the perfect item for a Fancy Holiday gathering.
The Styling:
So, for this look I paired this skirt with a sleek turtleneck. I often opt to pair a fitted turtleneck with a statement skirt as I love the balance it brings to an outfit and it allows for the skirt to be the main event. I added a fun element with the leopard pumps and kept the look true to holiday fashion by adding a gold sequin clutch and a pair of gold drop earrings.
Additional Styling:
To add an even more fancy vibe to this look a fur or faux fur stole/collar would definitely add a little luxe to the overall look. Another moment of truth/"behind the scenes blogging moments"; I originally had a stole on with this look but the particular one I chose looked like a dead possum hanging on my shoulder, so I decided to do away with those photos.
